Clemson Tight End To Miss Bowl Game

CLEMSON, S.C. (CU SID) — Clemson reserve tight end Stanton Seckinger suffered a knee injury to a PCL in the South Carolina game last Saturday. The injury will require surgery and he will not play in Clemson‘s bowl game. Seckinger, a redshirt junior, sustained the injury on a two-yard reception from Deshaun Watson in the first half of Clemson‘s 35-17 win over South Carolina. He finishes the season with nine receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown. He played in all 12 regular season games with one start.
