Lattimore Talks Retirement

Marcus Lattimore says he’s at peace with leaving the NFL before ever playing a snap as a pro.

In an interview Tuesday night on CBS Sports Network’s “We Need To Talk”, Lattimore spoke extensively about his decision to retire last month.

Lattimore says his body never fully recovered from his horrific knee injury that cut short his South Carolina career in the Tennessee game of his junior season.  

“I put my heart, sweat, blood, tears into everything and, you know, it just didn’t work out.”
