3 of Haley’s campaign workers moving to her office

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Three of Gov. Nikki Haley’s campaign workers are becoming part of her office staff for her second term.
Rob Godfrey said Thursday he’s officially rejoining Haley’s office on Monday as deputy chief of staff for communications. Her former campaign spokesman has been a temporary state employee since Nov. 10. He was hired a week after Haley’s re-election win to be her spokesman during a 10-day economic development trip to India.
Godfrey was the campaign’s chief spokesman. He has been her spokesman in different roles since her 2010 campaign.
He says campaign spokeswoman Chaney Adams will be the governor’s press secretary.
Zach Pippin is becoming the office’s director of digital media. He was paid by the campaign as its videographer.
How much they’ll be paid as state workers is unclear.
