Authorities cancel Amber Alert for missing SC teen

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Authorities have canceled the amber alert for a missing Chesterfield County teen. They say Alexis Deas was found Sunday night but wouldn’t go into further detail, concerning her whereabouts. Alexis was reported missing Friday. She had last been seen at New Heights Middle School. Authorities believe the 14-year-old was with Harland Melton. They’re still looking for Melton. He’s believed to be driving a car that is a black, 1999 Nissan Maxima.
