Educators to talk Common Core

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – The state Board of Education will likely give initial approval Wednesday to state-developed math standards that will replace the controversial Common Core standards next school year. The board gave initial approval to new reading standards last month. The timeline calls for full approval in March.
