2 dead in house fire in Orangeburg County

ORANEGBURG, S.C. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Orangeburg County that killed two people.

Fire officials say the house was engulfed in flames when fire trucks arrived shortly before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Coroner Samuetta Marshall tells The Times and Democrat of Orangeburg (http://bit.ly/1M6OLgq ) that the fire claimed the lives of 86-year-old Ruby Davis and 60-year-old Daniel Davis.

Officials say no foul play is suspected.
