SC prosecutor taking part in town hall on domestic violence

REMBERT, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina’s top prosecutor is taking part in a discussion on domestic violence.

Attorney General Alan Wilson is participating in a town hall on Thursday at Thomas Sumter Academy Gymnasium in Rembert.

The event is open to the public and is sponsored by One Sumter Community Group and the YWCA of the Upper Lowlands, Inc. Other panelists include state Sen. Thomas McElveen, state Rep. David Weeks and a survivor of domestic violence.

Attorney Charles J. Boykin will serve as moderator.
