April 16 Marks Advocay Day for Access and Independence

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Governor Nikki Haley has issued a proclamation, designating April 16 as Advocacy Day for Access and Independence. It calls for the elimination of barriers that keep people with disabilities from being independent and participate in community life. There are a number of activities planned throughout the day at the State House.
