Spartanburg Deputies Investigate Death at Burglary Scene
LYMAN, S.C. (AP) _ Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of a woman found at a home in Lyman where a possible burglary had been reported. Lt. Kevin Bobo told local media that a homeowner called to report a possible burglary Tuesday evening when he returned and saw one of his doors was not in the position he had left it. The homeowner went inside and found the body of a woman he did not recognize. Her name has not been released. It was not immediately clear how she died. Deputies said a suspect has been taken into custody in Greenville County on unrelated charges. Greenville Sheriff’s Lt. Chris Taylor said the suspect was found in a vehicle related to the woman’s death. A 4-year-old child in the vehicle was not hurt.
