Suspect Arrested in Colony Apartments Shooting

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia police have made an arrest in Tuesday night’s shooting at the Colony Apartments. Investigators say Curtis Long is charged with murder. Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook says just after 5:30pm Tuesdaday Long fired a gun into a crowd on Bailey St. striking two people. Holbrook says 27 year old Sunshine Housey was pronounced deceased at the scene, while a male victim was taken to a local hospital where he continues to receive treatment. Housey leaves behind three children, all under the age of eight.
