Mark Warner, Lincoln Chafee to address SC Democrats

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Virginia Sen. Mark Warner is among those scheduled to address a gathering of South Carolina Democrats this weekend.

Warner is delivering a keynote address Friday at the state Democratic Party’s Jefferson Jackson Dinner at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

The event is part of Democratic Weekend, and state Democrats hold their annual convention on Saturday. Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee are expected to attend.
