SLED: Columbia technical school officer exposed himself

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say an officer at a Columbia technical college has been charged with second-degree assault and battery and indecent exposure.

The State Law Enforcement Division said 48-year-old Charles Riley exposed himself to a female student in his office on April 20 at Midlands Technical College, where he also is a professor.

SLED also says in an arrest warrant that Riley rubbed his genitals against a woman and touched her breasts on that same day.

Both charges are misdemeanors.

Riley was released on a $10,000 bond. It was not known if he had a lawyer.
