Correctional Officers Feast to Celebrate Appreciation Week

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is ready to celebrate correctional officer appreciation week. It will offer a hamburger and hot dog dinner Monday, May 4, and Wednesday, May 6, at 5:00 p.m. for those who are working shifts to supervise inmates in housing units at the detention center. There are other events to feed correctional officers this week. The agency will provide breakfast for correctional officers at 5:00 in the morning on Tuesday, May 5, and Thursday, May 7. Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon says the meals will be served in the Multi-Purpose Room at the county Law Enforcement Complex.
