COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — 2001 Golden Spikes Award winner Kip Bouknight headlined the new 2015 class inducted into the South Carolina Athletic Hall Of Fame Monday night at the Columbia Convention Center. Bouknight, a Brookland-Cayce High School alumnus, was the lone Gamecock in this year’s class. He is the winningest pitcher in Carolina history (45-12), and played at USC from 1998-2001. Former NFL running back Terry Allen and soccer star Bruce Murray represented Clemson this year. Former NFL tight end Ben Coates (Greenwood), former Furman football coach Jimmy Satterfield, former Lander tennis coach Joe Cabri and former Spartanburg Herald-Journal Sports Editor Les Timms (posthumously) round out the class of 2015.
