Police search for shooting suspect

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Police say they have found the stolen car of a shooting victim in Columbia. Officers say a tip led them to the Shandon Crossing Apartments Thursday night around 8:45, just off South Beltline Boulevard. Police are processing the car for any evidence. Officers have identified Christopher Keitt as a suspect in the case. Keitt is accused of going to a home on Barnhamville Road with the intent to take the car. Officers say when he got there, Keitt ended up shooting the victim as he tried to escape by running back into the house. Police consider Keitt armed and dangerous.
