Gore, Koch Leave Carolina Baseball Program

In what’s been a tumultuous and difficult season for the South Carolina baseball program became much worse Saturday. USC announced Saturday that sophomore catcher Logan Koch and shortstop Jordan Gore would no longer be a part of the Carolina baseball program. Both players were granted releases from their respective scholarships. Gore and Koch both still have NCAA eligibility remaining should they decide to play collegiate baseball at another school. No other information was released by school officials.
