Teen Killed in Train Ax

(WOLO) GREENVILLE,S.C., — Authorities say an 18-year-old man was killed when a train hit him as he tried to cross railroad tracks in Greenville. Multiple media outlets report Malik Reese of Greenville was struck Friday afternoon and pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses say he was attempting to cross the railroad tracks. Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans planned an autopsy for Saturday. A Greenville County School District spokesman says Reese was a former student at Travelers Rest High School. The case remains under investigation by the Norfolk Southern police, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office. (Source: Associated Press)
