“Before I Die” wall coming to Riverwalk

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Some people have a bucket list of things that they want to do before taking their last breath. Soon, they will have a chance to write it down for everyone to see. Tuesday night, West Columbia City Council approved a measure to construct a “Before I Die” wall at Riverwalk Park near the amphitheater. Officials say it will be visible from the Gervais Street bridge between 80 to 120-feet tall. They’re in the early stages of planning, working with a local artist. Officials hope to have it up by June or July. Then you have a chance to write or check out the exhibit for 30 days.
