Chapin issues boil water advisory for part of subdivision

CHAPIN, S.C. (WOLO) – Some people, living in the Town of Chapin will have to take some extra steps to use their water. There’s a boil water advisory in effect for customers on Wateroak Trail and Oak Tree Court. They’re in the fairway oaks subdivision. Officials say it’s due to a water main break. Residents are asked to boil their water for a full minute for cooking or drinking until further notice.
