Closure to end for portion of Riverfront Park

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Work is expected to wrap up Friday night for a portion of Riverfront Park just below the Broad River Bridge. Crews have been installing a new electrical transmission line since May 26th. For local residents, it meant the surrounding area was off limits from 7am to 6pm each day, but crews set an end date on the construction for June 5th. The rest of Riverfront Park was not affected. It remained open.
