ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO/AP) – We’re following developments, concerning the future of South Carolina State University. According to the school’s acting president – W. Franklin Evans – they’re “open for business.” The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools’ Commission on Colleges phoned Evans Thursday, telling him… South Carolina State will keep its accreditation, but it will remain on probation.
