TV Schedule Set For USC Women

COLUMBIA, S.C. (USC SID) — Four South Carolina women‘s soccer contests in the 2015 season, including two home matches, are set to be broadcast nationally on the SEC Network and ESPNU as a part of extensive coverage that boasts 30 women‘s soccer national telecasts this fall. First, the Gamecocks will face Missouri on the road at 3 p.m. on Sun., Sept. 20, on ESPNU. Just four days later, South Carolina welcomes fellow 2014 NCAA quarterfinalist Texas A&M to Stone Stadium for the first time. The Thurs., Sept. 24, broadcast is set for 7 p.m. on the SEC Network. Auburn visits The Graveyard on Thurs., Oct. 8, for another primetime conference battle to air on the SEC Network at 7 p.m. The Gamecocks return to the airwaves on the SEC Network to face the SEC‘s third national quarterfinalist from the 2014 season. South Carolina hits the road to face Florida on Thurs., Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. For the second year, the SEC Network will carry the First, Quarterfinal and Semifinal Rounds of the SEC Soccer Tournament from Orange Beach, Ala. (Nov. 2-8). The Championship game will air on ESPNU. Additional school-produced events, available on SEC Network+ via WatchESPN, will be announced at a later date. South Carolina made a thrilling run to the NCAA Quarterfinals last year, compiling a 14-6-5 record (5-3-3 SEC) and ending the season ranked No. 9 in the NSCAA final poll, matching a program-best.
