NY Prison Fugitive Shot Dead

NEW YORK, NY (WOLO) — One of the escaped murderers from a New York prison is dead. A law enforcement source said Richard Matt was shot and killed by police. Matt was one of the murderers who escaped from a New York prison earlier this month. The source also says police are chasing the other escapee, David Sweat. More than 1,100 law enforcement officials are on the manhunt. Two prison employees are charged in connection to the jailbreak.
