Clemson Trustees Call for Flag’s Removal

Clemson, S.C. (WOLO)–The Clemson University board of trustees has called for the removal of the Confederate flag from state house grounds. The trustees unanimously approved a resolution Monday in a meeting held solely to address the issue. University of South Carolina President Harris Pastides has also called for the flag’s removal. The issue of the flag has been a point of contention following the shooting deaths of nine people inside a Charleston church by an admitted white supremacist.
