Columbia hosting beach party for July Fourth
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The City of Columbia is putting on a special party to celebrate July Fourth.
The Capital City Beach Party at Finlay Park is Saturday.
Organizers say the event features a sand volleyball exhibition, beach games, a limbo contest and karaoke.
The activities start at 2 p.m., and the Original Tams are scheduled to perform at 8 p.m. A fireworks show is scheduled to start at 10 p.m.
Admission is free, while there are fees for activities like face painting and food.
