Gamecocks Set For SEC Spotlight

Steve Spurrier will take his summer talking tour to the national spotlight Tuesday morning. The Gamecocks get their turn on day two of SEC Media Days from 10 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. This year’s three USC players making the trip with Spurrier to Hoover, Alabama are wide receiver Pharoh Cooper, linebacker Skai Moore and kicker Elliott Fry. Texas A&M will share the Tuesday morning media session with the Gamecocks. Mississippi State and Tennessee will talk in the afternoon. Auburn, Florida and Vanderbilt kicked off SEC Media Days on Monday. Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri and Arkansas are scheduled for Wednesday. Georgia, Ole Miss and LSU will conclude the official preseason talking festivities in Hoover Thursday.
