Sheriff Not Aware of Anyone Running People Off Roads

Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Richland Co. Sheriff Leon Lott says there are rumors flying around designed to scare people and cause panic. In a statement released to ABC Columbia News a spokesperson for the sheriff says, “The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is not aware of nor has any reports of and individuals with or without Rebel flags targeting anyone to run them off the road in any area of Richland County.” The Sheriff added that this is a very serious charge and if any such occurrence is reported the department will aggressively go after any and all responsible.
