Father of Slain Children Arrested on Unrelated Charge

Holly Hill, S.C. (WOLO)– The father of the children…. slain Wednesday in Holly Hill is one of two men arrested as the investigation into the murders continues. Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says two men are in custody facing charges unrelated to Wednesday’s murders on Old State Rd. Christopher Wright, the children’s father, is charged with trafficking methaphetamine. A second suspect, Robert Bailey is also facing drug charges. Investigators say the charges against the men are unrelated to Wednesday‘s shooting that included Wright‘s three children, Alexia Perry, 14; Shamekia Sanders, 17; and an eight-year-old male who has been taken to a secure location where he remains in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound.
