Beating the Heat: Cooling and misting stations in operation
(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — When temperatures get this hot, you may want to stay inside and crank up the air conditioner. Not everyone has that option though. City of Columbia officials and the Columbia Fire Department have set up locations throughout the city for you to cool down since temperatures are soaring above 95 degrees. A list of the locations can be found below, all of them open at noon and will close at 7 in the evening.
