Father of Slain Children Charged with Neglect

ORANGEBURG, SC (WOLO)– Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says the father of two murdered children and one who was injured in the shooting is charged with unlawful neglect of a child in connection with the July 17th incident at a home in Holly Hill. Sheriff Ravenell says the shooting was a direct result of Christopher Wright’s lifestyle. The sheriff added that Wright has been uncooperative in the investigation. Two adults and two children were shot and killed at a home on Old State Rd. in Holly HIll on July 17th. To date, no one has been charged with their murders.
