2 killed after motorcycle crash in Kershaw County

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Two people have died after their motorcycle collided with a car in Kershaw County.

Multiple media outlets report that the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened at around 6:25 p.m. Saturday. Authorities say a BMW stopped at a stop sign before driving away and colliding with a motorcycle that was traveling south on an intersecting road.

Officials say John “Randy” Hudson and his wife, Courtney Marie, were both riding the motorcycle and died from injuries sustained during the crash.

No charges have been filed at this time, and the Highway Patrol is still investigating.
