UPDATE: CPD investigate deadly shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Police are still investigating a deadly shooting out of Columbia. Officials say one man is dead after a reported shooting at Columbia Apartments, in the 2100 block of Slighs Avenue near Harden Street around 10:30p.m. The victim was transported to Palmetto Health Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Richland County Coroners Office have not released the name of the victim. ABC Columbia will bring you the latest on this case, as more information becomes available.
