Coroner: Man shot to death while breaking into home

TIMMONSVILLE, S.C. (AP) — The Florence County coroner says a 22-year-old man has been shot to death while apparently trying to break into a home in Timmonsville. Coroner Keith von Lutcken said in a statement that Ronald Wilson was killed around 2 a.m. Tuesday by someone inside the home. Sheriff’s deputies say they are investigating the shooting to see whether it was justified. They did not release the name of the person who fired the fatal shots or any other details about what happened. The coroner says an autopsy will be conducted on Wilson on Wednesday.
