Suspected shooter not dead, posted videos of shooting on Facebook

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The suspect in the Wednesday morning shooting which left two dead and one injured, posted videos of the incident on Twitter. The account of @bryce_williams7, which is believed to be the account of Vester L. Flanigan, was suspended shortly after the videos were posted. Flanigan opened fire on WDBJ7 photographer Adam Ward and WDBJ7 reporter Alison Parker. Vicki Gardner of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce was being interviewed at the time and was injured in the shooting. Reporters at WDBJ said during their Noon newscast that Gardner was out of surgery. Adam was 27-years-old. Alison just turned 24. Both were from the WDBJ7 viewing area. Adam graduated from Salem High School and Virginia Tech In his tweets, he accused Alison Parker of making racist comments. He also said that Adam Ward went to human resources about him. The suspected shooter allegedly attempted to kill himself on I-66 Faquier County, according to Virginia police. He is a former WDBJ employee. Photo courtesy of WDBJ7.
