Coroner: 38-year-old mother of 4 victim of fatal crash
Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Coroner Gary Watts released the name of the individual that died this morning in a single car wreck on I-77 Southbound near Jackson Blvd. 38-year-old Magdelene K. Anderson of West Columbia died on the scene from head trauma she sustained after she was ejected from the SUV she was driving. Anderson was not wearing a seat belt. Watts stated that Anderson, a mother of 4, was the only occupant of the vehicle. Trooper David Jones told WOLO the crash occurred at about 6:11 a.m Trooper Jones said Southbound traffic was backed up to Interstate 20 for about two hours. Southbound lanes on Interstate 77 were later re-opened near Fort Jackson.
