Two people killed in crash on Two Notch Road

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Columbia Police Department officials say the two people killed in a car crash early Saturday morning on Two Notch Road in Columbia were not wearing their seat belts. The Richland County Coroner says 21-year-old Julia Mydell and 25-year-old Diyonte Rowe were thrown from the car when it hit a utility pole and rolled. Officials say the vehicle was traveling south at the 2900 block of Two Notch Road. They say it ran off the side of the road, hit a curb and a utility pole, then flipped and rolled across West Beltline Boulevard and landed in a parking lot. The Columbia Police Department continues to investigate.
