Sheriff Lott: Gang activity on the rise

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says law enforcement officers are seeing a drastic increase in gang shootings during a press conference Monday morning. Sheriff Lott says many of the shootings are retaliation shootings adding that if people choose not to cooperate with authorities after shootings they will arrest them. Sheriff Lott blames the rise in gang shootings on complacency of the community.
