Columbia Officer Fired Following Nightclub Incident

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– A Columbia police officer is off the force after a late night altercation at a Midlands nightclub. Chief Skip Holbrook says officer Tracy Hudson was fired Tuesday after being involved in an altercation that resulted in a shooting at Serenity Restaurant and Lounge off of Hardscrabble Road Monday night. Hudson had served with the department since 2008. The incident is under investigation by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
