Historic Columbia hosting lecture series, book signings

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A new book and lecture series are offering a look into the past of South Carolina’s capital city.

Starting Tuesday, Historic Columbia is kicking off a series of four lectures and book signing events.

The gatherings are showcasing Remembering Columbia, a new book about the people and events that have shaped the city’s past.

Organizers say the events take place on Tuesday evenings now through Sept. 29 at the Robert Mills Carriage House.
