Former CPD Officer Charged

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A former Columbia Police officer is in jail after a fight outside a Richland County nightclub. After Tracey Hudson was released from the hospital Friday the former CPD officer was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Chief Skip Holbrook say they’ve fired officer Tracey Hudson, who was off-duty during the incident. Hudson is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. He had was employed with the CPD since 2008.
