Sanders to Host Town Hall

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders will travel back to the Palmetto State next week as he makes his case as to why he should be the country’s next president. The Democratic candidate will hold a town hall meeting at Benedict College on Sept.12 at 11 a.m. organizers say. The town hall meeting will kick off his trip, which also includes stops in Florence and Rock Hill. Sanders will be joined by author and activist, Dr. Cornel West. Doors open at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. Organizers say admission is first come, first served.
