Driver flees after fatal crash in Rembert

REMBERT, S.C. (WOLO) — Police are looking for the driver in a crash that killed a pedestrian in Rembert Saturday. The fatal accident happened on Richbow Road, about a mile from Highway 261. The Sumter County Coroner says 53-year-old Elizabeth Lewis died when she was hit by a car around 9 p.m. Saturday. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the car drove away from the scene.
