Argument over money leads to shooting in Richland County

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that left one person injured following an argument over money Tueday. Deputies say a shooting that occurred on Mallet Hill Road, began following an argument over $40 between a female acquaintance of the male victim and the suspect. The victim was transported to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital for emergency surgery, where he remains in stable but serious condition. The case remains under investigation.
