NOTABLES “¢ Freshman forward Simone Wark scored her first career goal and became the 15th different gamecock to score this season. “¢ This marked the Gamecocks third shutout victory of the season. QUOTABLE South Carolina Head Coach Shelley Smith Opening Statement Obviously it was a great win on the road. It was a hard fought battle. It wasn‘t our most well played game overall but I think we did great to get the win and had to move some things around due to some injuries. Give credit to our team (for moving around due to the inquires) and to Simone (Wark) to step up and find her first goal. Her work rate has been tremendous and I‘m glad she was rewarded with that goal. UP NEXT The Gamecocks return home on Thursday to host Texas A&M at Stone Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and the match will be televised on the SEC Network.
