Hornets Single-Game Tickets on Sale Sept. 24

September 21, 2015 (Hornets PR) — The Charlotte Hornets announced today that single-game tickets for the 2015-16 Hornets season will go on sale this Thursday, September 24, at 10 a.m. Single-game tickets for all 41 regular-season home games will be available at the Time Warner Cable Arena Box Office, online at hornets.com or ticketmaster.com, or via phone at 1-800-4NBA-TIX. The Hornets regular season home opener tips off against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, November 1, at 2 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena. The game will be presented by Lowe‘s and all fans in attendance will receive a teal Hornets Tuxedo T-Shirt courtesy of Lowe‘s. “Between our offseason additions and our upcoming trip to China, there is continued excitement around our team entering this season,” said Hornets President & COO Fred Whitfield. “We have limited lower-level ticket availability, especially for games against marquee opponents, so we encourage fans to get their tickets early or consider one of our ticket plans, which remain the most affordable way to catch all of the Hornets action this season at Time Warner Cable Arena.” The Hornets also announced the initial list of promotional giveaways for the 2015-16 season, which includes items such as hats, T-shirts and duffel bags. Following the Opening Night T-Shirt, giveaways include Hornets-themed duffel bags to the first 7,500 fans in attendance at the Dec. 12 game against the Boston Celtics and Hornets winter knit hats for the first 7,500 fans on Dec. 26 when the Memphis Grizzlies come to town. The first 10,000 fans at the Jan. 16 game against the Milwaukee Bucks will receive a Hugo the Hornet plush hat courtesy of Novant Health. Fan Appreciation Night on April 8 will feature a limited edition Hornets-themed T-shirt giveaway for the first 7,500 fans. The home schedule will feature six Buzz City Nights, in which the team will wear the new black, sleeved “Pride” uniform that features the words “Buzz City” on the front. These games, which will be a celebration of the fans‘ enthusiasm for the Hornets and the city of Charlotte, begin on Dec. 2 when the team hosts reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry and the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors.
