Terry To Transfer From Georgia

Seeking more playing time, 2012 SC Mr. Football Tramel Terry is transferring from Georgia. The school made the announcement Wednesday. “I appreciate the opportunity provided by Georgia,” Terry said via an official UGA statement. “I have many friends there but believe I’ll have a better chance for playing time somewhere else.” Terry, a defensive back from Goose Creek High School, never cracked the Bulldogs starting lineup. Fellow Lowcountry native Jacob Park, a former Stratford High School quarterback and the 2013 SC Mr. Football, transferred from Georgia this offseason. “Playing time is important to every player and I understand the way he feels,” said head coach Mark Richt. “We wish him nothing but success at his next school and will assist any way we can in the process.”
