Columbia man arrested for stealing car, fleeing police

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A 45-year-old Columbia man was arrested Saturday, after deputies say he was caught running a stop sign in a stolen car. Columbia Police Department officials say after trying to stop Bradigent Young around 10 a.m. Saturday morning, deputies followed the car to Harden Street, where Young crashed the car near the Drew Wellness Center. Officials say they brought Young into custody after he tried to run away from the crash scene.
