Spanish Language TV Star Charged in Newberry Assault

Ontario, Canada (LA Times, WOLO)–Singer and star of a Spanish-language television show Larry Hernandez is in custody accused of an assault in Newberry. According to a report in the Los Angeles TImes, Hernandez is accused of holding and beating a concert promoter in Newberry County in August over a financial dispute. Hernandez is the star of TV network Mun2‘s popular show “Larrymania.” He was arrested Monday while trying to board an airplane in Ontario, Canada.
