Suspected killer waives right to appear in court

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — 34 year old Jarvis Hall, the suspect in the shooting death of Officer Greg Alia, was scheduled to be in court Thursday afternoon. Hall waived his right to appear in court. Hall is charged in connection with the murder of 32-year-old Forest Acres officer Greg Alia. Hall also faces 2 counts of attempted murder and a charge of use of a deadly weapon. Hall was expected to face a judge at 2 p.m. Alia leaves behind a wife and son.
