Sumter man arrested following string of burglaries
SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO) — A Sumter County man is facing several charges after allegedly committing a string of burglaries. 28-year-old Torrence Anderson has been charged with second-degree non-violent burglary, third-degree burglary and petit or simple larceny of $2,000 or less. The warrants allege that on or about September 21, Anderson entered a home in the 2700 block of Lowder Road in Sumter County and allegedly stole items worth $400. On Sept. 30, Anderson also alleged broke into a shed in the 1200 block of Bell Road in Sumter County and stole items worth $610. He also allegedly stole items from a residence in 1400 block of Bell Road in Sumter County valued at approximately $300.
